The 5th day was another full day of ministry.
The medical clinic continued with 36 more patients receiving medical care. This brings our total to 72 patients that may not have received care if we were not here in Playa de Oro. The painting continued with another room being completed. The securing of the roof for the computer room is coming along well. The children enjoyed making sand crosses and learning of the love of Jesus during our VBS program. Representatives from Healing Waters came to measure the area for the space of the water purification system. God is good and we are being His faithful instruments.
My mission trip to Guatemala has exceeded all my expectations. I have been fortunate enough to be able to travel the world in my lifetime and meet many different people. I’ve traveled to Europe A number of times And to the far east,Singapore. I Have also Made a number of trips to Central America including Costa Rica and Panama. I have Experienced South America And the country of Suriname. I had the opportunity to Travel down a river in the jungle and meet with inIndigenous tribes. But my mission trip to Guatemala so far has been different than my previous experiences. I have got to spend time With the people in the villages mainly their children. I have seen the love that they so willingly give strangers. I have experienced this love myself. This mission trip that I am on has made all this possible.
